Describe what you're trying to do

Add enough information to build /guid/ pages to flat (#406)

I need to stash doi.doi somewhere.

Theoretically a record could have multiple DOIs, but I don't think that's become reality.

  • I could add a column to FLAT for this (probably URL as text, I'm still comfortable ignoring the possibles for now, but JSON would not be difficult).
  • I could add doi.doi to the identifiers JSON stash (this would natively deal with any number of DOIs).

I think those are roughly equal cost, and I don't think there are any noticeable functional differences. The former might be "more proper" (DOIs aren't managed with identifiers so possibly shouldn't be cached with them), the second might be more expected (someone doing their own thing might expect to find all identifiers in one place).

Thoughts?
