Fix support for dark mode in sign up and log in screens after targetSdk 35 updates

Expected

Sign in and log in screens work well on Android < 15 and >=15 on both light and dark modes.

Observed

One thing @Twinsen81 caught in testing #1737:

the first one is the login screen on prod, the second one - in the app (to repro, click LOG IN on the start screen):

The dark mode stuff only appears after logging out with the dark theme showing before logout. In other words, the theme selected in Settings is Dark, Dark at night only after sunset and before sunrise, or System default with dark mode enabled by the operating system. That's because the theme setting is saved in shared preferences. Clearing the app data resolves the issue. So, a quick fix would be to clear the pref_key_theme value on logout. See the screenshots below for illustration.

That's right - I thought of doing that too since it was a quick way out, but I figured we may want to update the library to use the same compileSdk / targetSdk as well, so I thought we could do that.

No problem! Simperium and Simplenote are pretty tightly coupled with login and signup. So, I created a temporary app in Simperium while updating login and signup exactly six years ago today to help isolate the changes before publishing and updating the library in Simplenote. Let me know if things get tricky with dark mode Simperium/Simplenote.
