Jira custom fields for service and test name

Hi,

I’m wondering if it’s possible to configure Jira custom fields when creating issues from DefectDojo. For example, something like:

    "customfield_1234": "{{ finding.service }}",
    "customfield_5678": "{{ finding.test }}",
}

Is there a way to map finding service and test name to Jira custom fields like this?

This currently not possible as only the description can be customized using templates. I think we would welcome a contribution that would implement a templating mechanism that would allow customization of more fields similar to what Dependency Track does: https://github.com/DependencyTrack/dependency-track/blob/master/src/main/resources/templates/notification/publisher/jira.peb
