It has not been tested for version 2022 - although 2023 does work and is known to be backward compatible, so good luck!

Just one question: do you mean the crack is compatible, or the projects created with it are? I've been told that projects made in SolidWorks 2022 can only be opened in that version of the software and are NOT compatible with newer versions. If they are compatible with SolidWorks 2023, that would be great!

SOLIDWORKS 2023 can open files created in SOLIDWORKS 2022, but 2022 cannot natively open files created in 2023

In short future is always compatible with past. but not the other way around
