Describe the script
I would like to contribute a Python script called "Simplilearn AutoWatch" that automates the process of watching course lectures on the Simplilearn platform. Many users rely on Simplilearn for valuable certifications but are unable to skip lectures, requiring the entire video to be played to receive a certificate. This script helps users by automatically logging into their Simplilearn account, navigating to the "My Learnings" section, and playing the videos in the watchlist until completion. It utilizes Selenium WebDriver, supports headless mode for remote execution, and is lightweight and easy to set up. This tool is practical for anyone needing to efficiently complete course viewing requirements for certification.
Language
Python
Is the feature request related to a problem? Please Specify.
Yes. The problem is that Simplilearn enforces full lecture viewing to unlock certificates, which can be time-consuming and impractical for users who have authentic reasons to skip or automate the process.
Describe the solution you'd like.
A script that logs in with user credentials, automatically plays videos from the user's watchlist, and maintains progress until completion, all in a lightweight and headless (if desired) manner. This allows users to satisfy course requirements without manual intervention.
