Kerbals cannot run in EVA

Just having this mod installed, no KBI part or any other parts or actions in KOS... the Kerbal cannot run in EVA.  Holding SHIFT momentarily doubles the walking speed, but within a fraction of a second, goes back to walking speed.
Removing the mod fixes the issue.
