using SE to load images instead of odoo server

If I am using odoo E-Commerce and I have hundreds of products and these products have data images, this is considered as a heavy load on odoo server but if we render the template of products and putting the image URL not the one that causes odoo server to load but can be from external storage or if we have SE we use its URL for images in E-Commerce.

I raise this issue as if it makes sense we would go a head but before I initiate I like to consult other expert developers.
