wrong split options combinations creates "Too many levels of symbolic links " error

With ODM 3.5.5, I wrongly use those split options
--split-image-groups image_groups.txt , --split 400 and --split-overlap 20
which creates an endless loop by creating submodel of submodels of submodels...

split options should be sanitize in the early stages like in config.py
