I'm kind a noob with docker, Actually, I use the OMV compose graphical interface. I'm not very comfortable with Docker command lines, and above all, I don't know where OMV stores the containers, so in short, I would like to be able to maintain this Docker like the others on OMV (via the graphical interface, a bit like Portainer). |

Hi @Guiz67, First, please verify that both containers are attached to the same Docker network:
Then, from inside the sync-in container, try to ping the MariaDB container:
You should get a result similar to this: PING mariadb (172.20.0.2): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 172.20.0.2: seq=0 ttl=64 time=0.215 ms
64 bytes from 172.20.0.2: seq=1 ttl=64 time=0.156 msIf the ping does not work, then this is a Docker bridge networking issue related to OpenMediaVault (OMV). Je ne suis pas capable d'analyser ces logs, et ma remarque n'est peut être pas pertinente, mais lors de mon installation de Sync-in server en conteneur docker, je me souviens d'erreurs relatives à mariadb dans mes logs (Error: unable to migrate database schema). @johaven pourra le confirmer ou l'infirmer mais lors de l'installation en conteneur docker, Sync-in ne créée pas la base de données. Elle doit déjà exister (avec un user et mot de passe pour cette base), et ensuite Sync-in créera les tables. |

In docker mode, the database is automatically created when the mariadb container is launched. The database schema is then installed/migrated. The error reported here is a connectivity issue between the dockers due to OMV context; the sync-in docker is unable to connect to the mariadb docker. |

Ok j'ai avancé dans mon probleme a priori c'est des que je remplace les les variables : Du coup c'est relativement ennuyant car j'aurais besoins que les fichiers soient liés à l'utilisateur. ca ne fonctionne pas non plus |

si je configure dans le docker compose
Sync-in démarre et fonctionne correctement. Si je configure

@Guiz67 Je vois que tu as installé sync-in sur OMV, pourrais tu me dire comment tu as fait ton installation. J'ai envie de faire ça proprement et de mettre le container de sync-in au même endroit que les autres et je voudrais pouvoir utiliser l'interface graphique d'omv pour gérer au maximum sync-in (mais bon comme dit plus haut, je ne suis pas encore très à l'aise avec docker et compose), donc j'aimerais un petit tuto si possible (même si la doc est très bien faite, à partir du moment où il s'agit de configurer le compose). |
