Hello world!
My name is Rubén Cuervo (rubencn4) and I am currently finishing a BSc in Biomedical Engineering. During my studies, I discovered that the field that captivates me the most is programming applied to the medical field, therefore using all my knowledge to enhance people's lives.
Inside the programming world, thanks to some subjects I studied during the career and some additional courses I took , I was able to obtain a solid basis in computing fields such as data analysis, signal processing or medical imaging, but programming microcontrollers has always been a missing area in which I wanted to improve my knowledge for my professional future.
During the degree, I created two prototypes where microcontrollers were programmed for medical applications:
All these projects were performed by using
Arduino, a platform which is really useful for trying prototypes (such as the ones I created) but it is not that applicable for industrial/professional applications. To enhance my knowledge in how to program microcontrollers in the same way as renowned companies do, I decided to enroll this Microcontrollers for biomedical applications and systems subject, expecting that, at the end of this course, I am able to perform the two projects I have commented previously as well as new projects programming at the record level. To find further information about my professional career, you can access: Rubén Cuervo
