Option for installing the entire GROUP

CamDawg and RoyalProtector were discussing the ability to install all components of a GROUP with a single command. At present, I heard it was not possible, but it is possible to install all components of a mod with a single command. (OlvynSpells does this.)

The request is to allow easy installation of all components of a GROUP with a single command.

@FredrikLindgren can we ensure this works from back tracing from the weidu.log, I am currently using it to rebuild installs.

Ie using a weidu.log, one should be able to reproduce any list of mods being installed. I plan to add this functionality to weidu shortly.

@dark0dave, it sounds like two different features. If I understand the request right, this would be in the interactive session. WeiDU would ask "here's the group, want install all of them?" instead of only asking if it should show the components of the group. Unless I misremember, group info is not included in the log.

What you are after sounds like a new CLI option.

@FredrikLindgren so what I am proposing is that any and all information regarding install should be stored in the log. I am not too fussed about how its implemented. But if you'd like it as two separate features that is fine. Ie if we need to store group information we do it.

The important part is, in the future we should be able to retrace our steps from the weidu.log. For example if we install all mods from a group, as long as we can replicate that functionality I am happy. Ie given any wiedu log we can retrace sounds good.

@dark0dave, trying to put all information required for perfectly reproducible installs into the log is folly, given that mod state can be affected by READLN, configuration files, randomness, and who knows what else.

GROUPs are just arbitrary (thematic, logical, etc) collections of components that have no bearing on installed state. Installing the entire GROUP would essentially just be sugar for answering "I" a bunch of times. As such, GROUPs can freely be reorganised between versions of the mod, so they have little inherent meaning, to boot.
