Description
A number of inquires have been received regarding how to apply DAFX to a B-format signal.
The appropriate signal flow looks like:
B-format in --> BtoA --> DAFX --> AtoB --> B-format out
While documented in the ICMC paper, the details regarding plugin routing are not described.
Some useful examples could be:
- reverberation using two stereo reverbs
- longer reverb for rear A-format channels
- chorus / flanging
- using two stereo DAFX
- using four mono DAFX
- spatial EQ
