1. yes, and those names look good. make sure they're added to env.ts and EnvVars and used accordingly like other env vars.

3. No, there shouldn't be any difference in runtime code between the different environments
4. if it's possible to have it globally importable, then do that. otherwise, if you need a shared instance, add it to getServerContext() for the backend and via a Provider in src/app/layout.tsx for the frontend.
