Consider updating 3.2.2.9 to match the CAA reuse of corroborating evidence with section 4.2.1 DCV data reuse periods #605
Description
Section 3.2.2.9 currently says:
A CA MAY reuse corroborating evidence for CAA record quorum compliance for a maximum of 398 days. After issuing a Certificate to a domain, remote Network Perspectives MAY omit retrieving and processing CAA records for the same domain or its subdomains in subsequent Certificate requests from the same Applicant for up to a maximum of 398 days.
With the plan to reduce the reuse period of Domain Validation evidence (see SC081), for consistency reasons, we should consider updating section 3.2.2.9 regarding the reuse of corroborating evidence and possibly place a reference to section 4.2.1 and Table: Domain Name and IP Address validation data reuse periods.
