Yep, if it's a problem on PyPI, yes, this is a real issue. But should we probably use an absolute link only on readme?

for the URL change issue I mentioned, we probably could try https://jimandreas.github.io/mkdocs-material/reference/variables/

I think we already have a conclusion and decided to use an absolute link in docs/README.md. Closing this one. Feel free to reopen if I misunderstood
