Please address this major issue #4399
Description
This attached ticket is old, but still active. It has been arbitrarily closed by @FrenchBen back in 2016 with very minimal further communication. In spite of that, many users are still complaining about this issue. A PR has even been submitted by @collin5 which fixes the problem.
