Feature request: Limit posts to N items from feed

I'd like to limit how many items from my feed make it to Mastodon, so I don't look like some lunatic posting a slew of things more or less at once, as sometimes happens. Would it be possible to add this as an option (--max NUMBER, -m NUMBER ?), maybe by taking the first NUMBER entries in entries during get_feed?
