When will the code sync happen ? What is planned in the next sync ?

Hi @chiragatal , it has been a while with no code sync, what is planned to be in the next sync and when will it happen ?

Hi, the next sync is planned to be done in the next couple of weeks. It will primarily add UART (similar to this one: #14) and I2C driver related code, and the corresponding usage for them in different peripheral sensors/devices and products.

Then, there are efforts going on to make LowCode production ready, primarily with the inclusion of OTA, secure boot, etc. And on the side, we are exploring the possibility of LowCode for other chips. This would potentially open up a wider range of products and also increase the ease of trying it out. These might take a few months though.

Do you have any preferences or any particular features in mind which can be added to the plan and also prioritised?

I agree that Arduino has a lot of libraries easily available.

Would it be possible to add arduino as an idf component ? Or the architecture of low code is not thought for this ?

There is support to add arduino as an IDF component with the standard esp-idf examples and build system (one such example: https://github.com/espressif/esp-rainmaker/tree/master/examples/m5_demos/stickcplus_multi_device#librariesdependancies). But we have not yet explored it in context of LowCode. We'll definitely do so for LowCode later on.

Yes I have already tested arduino as an idf component and I have tested on lowcode but without any chance ... :(
