Improve UI/UX of firstcontributions.github.io #501

@mnraza-dev

Description

@mnraza-dev

📌 Summary
The current UI of the firstcontributions.github.io site appears quite basic and lacks visual styling in several areas. As a first-time contributor, I'd love to enhance the user interface to make it more modern, visually appealing, and beginner-friendly without affecting existing functionality.

🎯 Areas for Improvement
🧭 Navigation

Add consistent header/footer

Improve spacing and layout for better readability

🎨 Styling

Introduce a modern color palette and better typography

Use CSS or utility-first framework (like TailwindCSS, if acceptable)

Add visual hierarchy for section titles and content

📱 Responsiveness

Make the layout mobile-friendly

Fix padding/margin issues on smaller screens

💻 Component Polish

Style buttons, links, and cards with hover/focus states

Use semantic HTML where appropriate

✅ Benefits
Improves first impressions for newcomers to open source

Makes the content easier to read and interact with

Gives contributors a more polished and welcoming interface

🛠️ Tech Stack Suggestion
Happy to implement using plain CSS or, if allowed, introduce lightweight frameworks like TailwindCSS to keep the site minimal and maintainable.

🙋‍♂️ Proposal
If approved, I’d like to:

Create mockups or quick layout suggestions

Start with a small PR to revamp the homepage section-by-section

Keep changes modular and accessible

Let me know your thoughts — happy to collaborate or follow any design preferences you may have!

This structure shows initiative, respect for the project, and clear intention. Let me know if you want to include screenshots, mockups, or Tailwind examples before proposing it!
