apt update fails on raspberry pi 5 #110

Description

@davmonk

this is a brand new install with image downloaded recently.
Last I saw, there was a thread in 2023 saying that this should have been fixed, and was a problem with how python interpreted architectures, aarch64 vs arm64.
this is very frustrating and makes me wonder if I am stuck on an old version of piaware?
piaware -v gives 10.2

pi@piaware:/etc/apt/sources.list.d $ sudo apt update
