Unable to hide mouse cursos (XBOX sS, Win 11 home)

After some tweaking I managed to make the keyboard and mouse to work on my Win 10 Home when streaming from an Xbox Series S. But the mouse cursor is always visible in the middle of the screen when playing (and is twitching when I use the mouse to look around). I tried turning the option "Show the Mouse Cursor" on and off but the cursor is always visible. Any help, please?

I spoke too soon - after a restart (both PC and the Xbox) the keyboard and mouse don't work again ...
