I got this "Assertion failed" when i installed the conductor. I am not sure what it is.

I have the same issue. Updated node to the newest version did not resolve it.

Thanks for the bug report folks, and sorry that you ran into this. I haven't been able to reproduce it myself, including on Windows and across different Node versions, and I suspect the issues lies outside of Conductor.

I've found other examples of this same failure, such as this issue for G-CLI as well as this in NodeJS.

Given the above and the nature of Conductor's code being within the bounds of Gemini CLI extensions, I'm going to close this ticket. I think the best bet is to duplicate it against the G-CLI ticket as it seems most likely they share a common root cause.
