Description
Hello,
I think cjdns is a great project. However, I have seen that despite pinging the maintainers, no bugs are being fixed (not even potential security bugs). So I wanted to ask if cjdns is still being actively developed?
Here is a list of bugs, all of which I have reported but have not received a response.
Problems with debian package:
- Warning when building debian package:
dh: warning: Compatibility levels before 10 are deprecated (level 9 in use)#214 - Failed to build debian package:
mv: './target/release/cjdroute' and './cjdroute' are the same file#215 - Failed to install debian package: Python 2 no longer available in Debian #216
Bugs:
- Failed to make function call: UDPInterface_beginConnection #213 / Crash on startup #195
- warning: variable does not need to be mutable #207
Improvements:
Potential security error:
Build errors:
- Failed to build android app #211
- Failed to build on IPv6-only host #209
- Failed to build on Termux #208
Some of these are "blemishes" and therefore not so important, but cjdns also uses an outdated libsodium library, for example, which is no longer being developed further. This could become a potential security vulnerability.
