GetOccurrences returns events with Name = guid and sometimes name = "VEVENT"

We run GetOccurrences to get back conflicts based on a start and end datetime. Intermittently, we get a list of occurrences and 1 will have VEVENT instead of a GUID. Why is that and what does it mean?

Sorry, that's no code we can use to reproduce. Any conditions when "sometimes" happens? You're working on a single thread? Your getting "VEVENT" as a string? You could give the current v5 pre-release a try.

Yes. When we add events to the calendar, we add the name field as the guid. I would expect to get a guid in that field for the occurrences we get back from getoccurrences.

Here is what I see in the Calendar prior to GetOccurrences and then it happens that the GetOccurrences returns one of the VEVENT's that the passed in start and end cross with. What are VEVENT's in this case is I added 10 appts from a database via above code?

You're setting the the name of the iCalObject? For iCalendar components, this is the RFC 5545 name of the component. So you shouldn't do that. If you expand the component in Visual Studio you'll understand the context of the component.
