Test Results as prerequisite for actions to be performed with Stock Items

I totally adore the implementation of Tests to be performed on Stock Items!
However as far as I noticed, there is no interaction of Test Results with anything else in the database, its merely documentation.
I am wondering if there is a plan to make things like:

• assignment of Stock Objects to Build Orders or
• assignment of Stock Objects to Sales Orders or
• acquisition of "OK" status for Stock Objects from Return Orders
  hard conditional on positive Test Results?
  I fully understand that the complexity of usage can already be demanding and confusing and that expanding the functionality over to procedure control rather than mere documentation is not necessarily the database's job. On the other hand, already having e.g. sales order assignment conditional on the part being salable and dedicated test sections in place made me wonder if my idea is within reach of potential implementation?

Without properly formulated Feature Requests there are no plans to add these vague ideas. The threshold to be included in core rather than being a plugin is considerable as the normal user is already not using tests - judging by FRs and bug reports. so making default usage scenarios more complex will need a logical and well-rounded requirement.

but never say never, if it makes sense: why not include it?

We have a configurable setting which prevents build order outputs from being completed until required tests have passed:

So I think these suggestions are in-line with what we already do (or are planning).

Thank you all for your time and awesomeness! I can now confirm the test-required-for-completing-build-orders actually works for us in real-life case settings.
For some reason, test templates were then not inherited correctly for some variants from some templates, but seems like even that works perfectly now, even for part constructs that are several years old.
