Unable to type text with Edge (W10M)

The textbox when selected triggers the keyboard, but there is no carret appearing (or maybe so breifly it can't be seen), and the keyboard disappears => unable to type text

On the same screen, unable to check the geolocation checkbox (nor the private message checkbox): it remains unchecked whatever I do.

Environment: Windows 10 Mobile (on 950 XL), up to date
