Stops at [init] Resolved version given 1.12.2 into 1.12.2 and major version 1.12

I'm trying to build a Forge server with RaspberryJamMod to run Python codes in Minecraft.

Running docker-compose up --build always stops with a log line [init] Resolved version given 1.12.2 into 1.12.2 and major version 1.12.
I stopped with Ctrl+C, removed data directory, and retried a couple of times; however, none of the attempts worked.
I believe FORGEVERSION is correct according to Downloads for Minecraft Forge for Minecraft 1.12.2.

What's wrong with my config? Would someone please reproduce this on other machines?

Add DEBUG: "true" and that output will help narrow down what it is doing when it stops. Speaking of which, does the container exit or does it hang until you control-C it?

Hi @itzg, here's a log with DEBUG: "true". It still hangs until I manually do Ctrl+C.

Interesting, but strange. It seems to be hanging at the first invocation of java since mc-image-helper is a wrapper script for a java application. Can you switch to the itzg/minecraft-server:java8-multiarch to eliminate the Alpine distro, etc as a culprit?

If that still doesn't work, I'd be curious what this reports:

docker-compose run --rm -i -t --entrypoint java minecraft-server -version
