suggestion: Open discussions

Not sure what is the state of your homelab, since at least commit history seems a bit stale. But if you're still working on it, maybe opening up discussions would be beneficial to the community? Just a suggestion :)

Hi, I'm a bit busy with personal life this year, so it will be a bit stale at least until the end of the year.

Personally, I don't like using GitHub Discussion (or even Issue or PR) because I don't want my and my projects’ data to get locked into GitHub. Issue and PR still strike a balance between being able to export my data (e.g. to Gitea) while not causing too much friction for new contributors like the email-based git workflow, even though I still prefer that where possible.

This project is about self-hosting, so you could trust that I will do as much as I can to reduce third-party dependency 😄

Yeah, I can totally relate to not wanting my data dependent on github. A mailing list could be a good alternative 👍
