Support for different protocols for healthchecks and traffic

I oppened an issue previoulsy but it got closed without addressing the described issue.

I would like to be able to create an Ingress that specify different protocol for healthcheck and traffic.
My traffic would be gRPC and healthcheck would be http.
However I can't seem to do this.

Is this supported ? If not will it be supported ?
In any case documentation should be updated to indicate wether or not this is supported.

Thanks for taking the time to respond Zac. However I'm not sure what you're trying to point at here.
As stated in the linked previous issued this is what I used. But it doesn't work.
`alb.ingress.kubernetes.io/backend-protocol: HTTPS
alb.ingress.kubernetes.io/backend-protocol-version: GRPC

alb.ingress.kubernetes.io/healthcheck-path: /health/ready
alb.ingress.kubernetes.io/healthcheck-protocol: HTTP
alb.ingress.kubernetes.io/success-codes: '200'`

When i try to manually enter this configuration from the AWS console I cannot save as I get an error stating that success codes must be within 0-99 range for grpc, which I don't want to use for healthchecks
