Invetory managment software

Description (what is the goal of this issue)

Instead of creating an excel file for every category (network equipment, computer equipment etc.) we should probably use a central place for all the equipment.

Action items

• Compile a list of software that directly does the above or can be used for it
• Leave a comment about which one was tested and a Pros/Cons comparison for each

odoo seems like a viable choice. From the Open Source and free Inventory Management Software I went through seems to be the only one with self hosted option (so no limit on stored objects) and not a 90's UI.

From a first look it also seems to cover other aspects (such as accounting, spendings, planning, calendar, surveys etc).

I've created a Dockerized version of odoo. The software is heavy and relatively slow. But it covers our usecase and a handful of other use cases. It would make more sense to deploy it if we were to use it for more than just inventory management.
