BD sensor M and Manta E3EZ board

I have just finished my E3NG build and decided to use the BD sensor M I have a couple of issues. First I have tried connecting to both the EXP1 connector and the BL touch connector on the Mainboard and neither are working. I don't get any led using the EXP1 and when using the bltouch connector the led blinks slowly, and when issuing a M102 S-2 command it gives me a distance and then issuing m102 S-7 it gives a value but it's always 0.0, 512, or 1019 issuing M102 S-1 gives no connection error and also the bed moves in Z when only trying to home X or Y
I have tried several things and non ware working.

How about plug the sensor into the board with EXP1 directly and instead of using the cable? but be careful the pin order.

I tried plugging directly into exp1 and the bd sensor board led doesn't even light up I verified config settings and correct pin orientation but still no joy.

Not sure what I can do anymore. I have tried connecting with the gpio of the manta e3ez (using CB2 as host) and no good, tried using end stop switch inputs also no good. Have quadruple checked config in printer.cfg and redownloaded/installed the software. This morning is also tried reflashing the hex file on the chip itself and that appeared to be successful but when plugging back into the printer. I get the same result. As I said previously the sensor does detect metal and the end stop portion of nor does work as I'm able to home z. However it will not let me do calibration and bed scanning does not work. I also changed the "delay" setting from 10 to 20 and back and no fix. I have been browsing through other issues on GitHub and can't seem to find anyone else with exact same issue. What can I try next?
