How to render dv 5 an 7 correct when use hardware decode ?

I am dev a new platform, my device not support dv.

when use gpu-next,:

With sw decode,.the dv 5 and 7 color is correct(I am not sure it with hdr or not).

But when with hw decode, the render color is not correct.

Also, I test the same source on Android, Android has the same issue, what should i do to hw decode for dv 5 and 7?

For dv to work you have to make sure that .repr.dovi, .color.hdr and .color.transfer are set correctly. Which hwdec are not working? Those may metadata may be lost during mapping, so need to make sure they are copied correctly.

Of course, Vulkan is native hwaccel.

Just use Vulkan for decoding.

That's too bad for me, I was thinking I can use system hw decode api to decode, then render it use hwdec_xxx_vulkan in video/out/hwdec.

When I test dv 5 and 7 file on windows with this config:

profile=gpu-next
tone-mapping=perceptual

The video color is map to sdr, at least it color is correct.

DV 7.1

DV 5.0

But if I test it on android client, it not work. What should I do to make mapping work on android and other mobile platform?
