EdsLib does not currently have any validation tests.

Describe the solution you'd like
Implement a simple sanity check workflow to build EdsLib and run basic tests with every PR

Additional context
There was some coverage test before but this needs to be updated to work again. In the meantime, simply building the code and running it against some test XML files should be good enough for now.
