Cannot select several files at once

Steps to reproduce

1. Open a folder with several files
2. Try to select like half of them

Use case: I have like 200 photos auto-uploaded in this month folder. I want move half of them to a separate folder (a photo album). I really don't want to click each of the photos.

Expected behaviour

1. Open a folder with several files
2. Select the first file you want
3. Select last of the files you want with a long tap
4. All the files in between are selected too

Actual behaviour

Only the first and the last file is selected.

Is there any workaround to select a big number of items?

I've tried to use the drag to select but it's also not working.
