Not able to read out temperature of remote CPU using HA using platform command_line #4

@gijssenh

Description

@gijssenh

I have a HA (Home Assistant OS 5.13) running on a Raspberry PI4b. It is connected to Homebridge running on a Raspberry PI Zero. I do not succeed in reading out the temperature of the Homebridge CPU using the command_line platform. I succeed via the HA terminal using this command (no password required)

ssh [email protected] sudo cat /sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone0/temp

Configuration.yaml:

  • platform: command_line
    name: HB CPU Temp
    command: "ssh [email protected] sudo cat /sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone0/temp"
    unit_of_measurement: "°C"
    scan_interval: 15
    value_template: '{{ value | multiply(0.001) | round(1) }}'

What can be the issue?
