Play Store crashes in NikGapps Core on LineageOS

I recently installed NikGapps on LineageOS running on a Samsung Galaxy A51 (A515F).

I flashed NikGapps from TWRP before my first boot of LineageOS; following the instructions at LineageOS 20.0 Unofficial Build with Android 13 for Samsung Galaxy A51 4g.

The phone booted and several Google apps are installed. The Play Store, though, was not installed. I was surprised by this since the page listing the differences between the builds says that Core has everything needed for the Play Store to run. I tried installing the Play Store through APKPure, but when I opened the Play Store it crashed immediately. The rest of the phone seems to work fine, so I believe this is a bug in NikGapps.

Are there any log files which I could provide which would be helpful?

Steps to reproduce problem:

1. Install LineageOS 20.0 build linked above on a Samsung Galaxy A51 (may occur on other devices as well)
2. Install NikGapps Core build linked above (2024-02-10)
3. Boot phone for first time and try to install the Google Play store from APKPure

EDIT:
I tried flashing NikGapps Basic, and I noticed that as NikGapps was flashing, it said the following:

- /system available size: 60124 KB
- Total available size: 60124 KB
- Gapps Size: 244795 KB
--> Running the installer
- Installing GoogleServicesFramework
x Skipping GooglePlayStore as no space is left
- Installing ExtraFiles
...

Does this mean that this is actually a bug in the LineageOS build?
