Node.js is not a virus. That being said, you really shouldn't make my word for it, and you should perform yo ur own research (it's good practice for the off chance that a malware is installed in the future) |

I installed nodejs (from https://nodejs.org/dist/v24.12.0/node-v24.12.0-x64.msi) and eset says:
