Reseting filter on column does nothing

Version 3.4.17, Windows

• Use any data view
• Add Filter, and filter string (works)
• Use the clear (x) button on the filter string
• Expected behavior: all rows are shown
• Actual behavior: Selection continues to be active
• The only workaround: close the panel and reopen it.

It does work as expected on my Windows. I'm not sure what's causing your problem. Can you please try this on a clean installation of SQLiteStudio? I.e. rename temporarily the config file - just for testing time - and start SQLiteStudio. See if that happens for you then as well.

• Uninstalled SQLiteStudio
• Removed settings
• Removed all SQLStudio entries manually from registry
• Installed a freshly downloaded version
• A new settings file is generated
• Same problem

Am I doing something wrong? This app is perfect otherwise!

Oh, now I see. The problem is for the "per-column" filter, not the global filter (at the toolbar). I confirm that this is a bug and will be fixed.

In the mean time, you can walk around it: when you clear the input with the cross icon, then click on the filter field and press "Enter" to apply empty filter.

The bug is that it should automatically apply such empty filter.

I never had realized that there was a global search field. It's a bit unpractical, because it is too small to do real work. Maybe put it at the end of the row and stretch it to the remaining space? I my field, names tend to be largish, such as
