Get with query parameters #45

I'm using
GET http://localhost:/url?query="$.ABC[?(@xyz)]"
The request is failing with the 400 bad request but it works in the postman(chrome plugin).
Does the Get support for the special characters in the url.?
Please help me to resolve this.
