Inherited data in a table field does not display in grid view

#873 did fix inherited grid view for most cases but any situations when the getDataForGridView() function for the field type returns an array (in this issue we highlighted table but maybe there are others) the original issue persists.

We did previously submit a fix for this(#860) which was not merged, but have since marked it as draft since it does not fix this case.
