TCA Coordinators

Hi

I wanted to share a project I’ve been working on: https://github.com/johnpatrickmorgan/TCACoordinators. It aims to improve the ergonomics of navigation in SwiftUI/TCA by representing navigation state as an Array (or IdentifiedArray) of screen states, managed by a coordinator view/reducer.

I hope it brings some advantages to navigation in TCA:

• Operations such as popping to the root screen from anywhere in the stack, or to a specific screen, are simple one-liners.
• Cancellation of in-flight effects when any screen is popped is a one-line addition to the reducer.
• A screen’s state and action types no longer need to include the state and actions of screens that follow them in the navigation flow.
• Screen views and reducers are more reusable because they are no longer coupled to a particular navigation flow.
