We received the following feature request:

Could you support an option to send the GPC header, but globally disable
the attempt to access /.well-known/gpc.json on any site.

We have to use an intranet site (so, unable to test publicly
unfortunately) where something goes awry with the /.well-known/gpc.json
request and we get redirected to a 404 page about it upon logging in
when using the extension. It may be something to do with the JavaScript
on this site.

This should be fairly straightforward with a UI element connected to a conditional for the resource retrieval logic.
