Reasons for the request
Till yesterday I was the co-owner of the project.
Our organization runs a summer Internship program under which we work with students in developing opensource cocotb verification modules. All repos under this program are hosted here https://github.com/dyumnin-interns including this one.
The other co-owner, meet
, worked as an intern in this program and was assigned to work on this IP under my direct supervision last year. The project was around 20% done in its feature list when the internship got over.
Two interns from this years program are continuing the work and were added to the project as maintainers.
As their first task they
- Cleaned up the code (ruff, mypy, pytest etc.)
- Switched to pdm
- Implemented a working CI and release github action.
- Implemented pytest compatible tests.
Currently they are working on replacing all hardcoded signal names with a bus builder which is required to convert the project from a POC (proof of concept) to a module that can be used across projects.
Yesterday meet
unilaterally
- Yanked all the releases made by the current interns,
- Removed the github integration.
- Downgraded my role which prevents me from re-adding the github integrations or making new releases.
I tried reaching out to meet
but have not heard back from him.
Requesting you to please fix the permissions to enable continuation of the project.
