Broken output or black screen on HEVC video playback

Hi guys it seems that the playback of HEVC 10bit Main videos are broken in the current version, i have black screens or artifacts over video, i'm using ffmpeg for testing via m2m codec path. According to the kernel logs the HEVC video is trying to be parsed by the VP8/VP9 codec path. The device is a QCS6490.
