Installation steps

wget http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/ta-lib/ta-lib-0.4.0-src.tar.gz
tar zxvf ta-lib-0.4.0-src.tar.gz
cd ta-lib/
./configure LDFLAGS="-lm"
make
make install
gem install talib_ruby -- --with-talib-include=ABSOLUTE_PATH_TO_TALIB_HEADERS --with-talib-lib=ABSOLUTE_PATH_TO_TALIB_LIBS

Hi, I am seeing the same error. Actually I am trying to install talib_ruby on Heroku and since it requires building talib sources I have created a custom buildpack script that is building talib from sources (https://github.com/stasio33/talib_buildpack/blob/master/bin/compile).

The gem then installs without a problem however I see this error in the log of my app:

undefined symbol: TA_GetFuncHandle

when trying to access gem methods.... any clue?
