Cannot extend Twig with country_name filter

I'm trying to add support for the country_name filter in Twig. This will save a ton of work dealing with select boxes of country names and iso values.

I've done:
$ composer require twig/intl-extra
$ composer require twig/extra-bundle
$ php -m | grep intl

All good.

In UF 5.1, I changed app/src/MyApp.php

use UserFrosting\App\ServicesProvider\TwigIntlExtensionService;

    public function getServices(): array
    {
        return [
            TwigIntlExtensionService::class,
        ];
    }

In app/src/ServicesProvider/ I created TwigIntlExtensionService.php:

use UserFrosting\ServicesProvider\ServicesProviderInterface;

My twig template contains

{% for country_code in ['AF', 'AL', 'DZ', 'AS', 'NZ'] %}
    <option value="{{ country_code }}">{{ country_code|country_name }}</option>
 {% endfor %}

That triggers a fatal error

Type: Twig\Error\SyntaxError
Message: Unknown "country_name" filter.

You can register the Twig Extension using the getTwigExtensions method in your recipe instead of using a Service:

    public function getTwigExtensions(): array
    {
        return [
            \Twig\Extra\Intl\IntlExtension::class,
        ];
    }

And don't forget to add the TwigExtensionRecipe implementation in your recipe.
