Details

getting a module not found error in our ci that's hosted on freebsd. it seems to be expected in node_modules/@rspack/binding/binding.js but not found on npm

Can we support FreeBSD now?
It's not hard to install and configure, or we can run a NomadBSD ( Just a FreeBSD wrapper ) in a usb-stick.
I'v already have webstorm and rustrover to work, I'd like to doing something with rspack/rsbuild instead of vite on my favorite FreeBSD desktop.

sorry, some of the upstream crate doesn't support freebsd swc-project/swc#10106, and none of rspack team members has experience using freebsd, so we're not able to fix release & CICD problem of freebsd, unless some community contributors are willing to maintain the freebsd, we're not gonna support it in near future.

We've added a support for this target in https://github.com/rspack-contrib/rspack-binding-template and are planning to migrate this setup to Rspack soon. Stay tuned :-)
