AlumniConnectAI is a Chrome extension designed to streamline the process of cold emailing Penn Alumni. It scrapes needed information from the alumni database and integrates it with AI insights and information from your resume to create a tailormade LLM prompt for cold emailing.

- Clone this repository locally
- cd to local clone
- Execute npm install in terminal
- Still in terminal, execute npm run build
- Open Chrome and go to
chrome://extensions/ - Enable "Developer mode"
- Click "Load unpacked" and select dist folder in the extension directory
- Register for an account at www.serpapi.com and paste your API key into background.js
- Click the extension icon in your Chrome toolbar
- Configure your email settings
- Navigate to the alumni directory
- Click "Start Scraping" to begin collecting alumni data
- Review and customize email templates
- Send personalized emails to alumni
