Symfony Day 2011 is taking place in Cologne, Germany. Based on our previous success at Symfony Live 2011, Friends of Symfony will be organizing several activities and/or food outings around the conference day.

Thursday, Oct 20

  • 9:00 - 18:00: Workshop day - @sfdaycgn
  • 11:00 - 18:00: Walking tour of Cologne for those not attending a workshop. We'll meet at this Starbucks near the conference hotels (it should have free wifi to ease coordination). Planned highlights include shopping, walking over to Cologne Cathedral, and finding some local currywurst (based on advice from @denderello). @jmikola will be coordinating this.
  • 18:00 - 19:00: Quick bite to eat before heading to the official party. Meet at the Hostel Köln lobby - @jmikola
  • SNACKS/BEER 19:00 - $:00: The Symfony Day Cologne 2011 Party at the Päff (for conference and workshop attendees only), Friesenwall 130, 50672 Köln - Google Maps - Google Streetview - @sfdaycgn

Friday, Oct 21

  • 9:00 - 18:30: Conference day - @sfdaycgn
  • 18:30 - $:00: After the conference, we'll head out as a group to some local restaurant and/or bar. We'll depart directly from Komed, and @jmikola will publish the destination on Twitter after we arrive (for those who are late or need to visit their hotel first).
