Coupon Finder Extension

A browser extension designed to help users find and apply the best coupons
for their purchases, making online shopping easier and more affordable.

Features

Automatically searches for coupons for the current website.

First run the following commands:
git clone https://github.com/Isabelle36/Bag-That.git
cd frontend-bag
npm run build

Then open up a second terminal, and then run the following

Make sure you are in Bag-That/flask-server/backend> python app.py

Enable Developer Mode in Your Browser

Open your browser and navigate to the extensions page:

Chrome: Go to chrome://extensions/
Edge: Go to edge://extensions/

Enable Developer Mode (toggle switch in the top right corner). Load the Extension

Click on Load unpacked.

Select the build folder located inside the frontend-bag directory. Start Using the Extension

The extension will appear in your toolbar. Click on it to access the coupon-finding functionality!

Usage

Navigate to any shopping website. Open the Coupon Finder extension. It will display available coupons for the site. Apply the best coupon and enjoy the savings!
